Sorry about the weird paper bits, I just wanted to color this asap so y'all could get the best idea of what she looked like. Whoop whoop! Story sharing time!🚨🚨

TL;DR I made a plant alien who's the captain of a bunch of dorks in a vegetable ship.

Maple is the captain of the Negatives, and a strong fighter. She is a Barcadid from the planet Trox. Barcadids are sentient, bipedal cyclops plants. They are weak to fire, but sustaining any other injury is easy because of their ability to regenerate limbs. Barcadids are very capable, so most tend to become bodyguards or law enforcement.
For instance, Maple's dad, Alder, was a royal guard for queen Iris. During an attempt on queen Iris's life, the throne room exploded with flames. Iris herself survived, but the prior king and queen died. Alder was assumed dead, since there was no sign of him in the wreckage. Because of his bravery, Maple decided to become a member of the Iris fleet. The situation got complicated later on, so she defected with her friends and became the so-called captain of the "Negatives" on the S.S. Cauliflower. (S.S. for space ship, not steam ship)
Maple makes for a good captain due to her calm temperament and logical abilities. Maple also has a pet Seedog named Sprout. He's one of the last gifts her father gave her, so she's very attached to Sprout. I forgot to include him here, but I'll post an updated design of him later.

(This isn't really intended to be an open species, but if y'all want you can do whatever you like with them. I got like six species of alien goin on. If you got any questions, feel free to ask!!👍👍)
