Okay, my second monitor is actually smaller than my first one. But, after using DisplayFusion, I was able to assign individual pictures to the monitors, stretch Octavia's side vertically a bit, and align my secondary monitor as being "in the air" next to my primary. Then I physically put my secondary on top of a box.
This looks awesome. Thank you for making this, and thank you for pointing me to DisplayFusion. This...is going to stay on my desktop for a looong time.

Not to be intrusive to your life, but could you upload a picture of your two monitors, I would really like to see this in action!

Step 1= make new folder in pony wallpapers folder
Step 2= place Vinyl Scratch wallpaper in said folder
Step 3= place Octavia wallpaper in same folder
Step 4= right click desktop
Step 5= enter properties and set wallpaper to cycle through new folder "KICK ASS OCTY/SCRATCH"

Hey, I want to use this as a dual-monitor background. But I have absolutely no f*cking idea how to do this. D: Time to look up tutorials!

Windows, by itself, can't do this easily. If you have a control panel installed for your video card (such as ATI's Catalyst Control Center" or whatever NVidia calls their control panel), check to see if it has a feature for multi-monitor wallpapers.
If you don't have such an app, or it doesn't support multi-monitor wallpapers, then look up "Display Fusion". The free version of Display Fusion is fairly easy to use, and allows you to span wallpapers between monitors.

As far as I know, all you have to do is set it as the background(assuming the two monitors are the same resolution). But I don't have dual monitors, so I don't know.

Not quite that easy. Usually you have to use third-party software to achive this. The only way to do this without third party software is to scale the image to be exactly the same resolution as your two monitors combined, and then set it as the wallpaper, and then set it to either "centered" or "tiled" (I forget which). It's much easier to just use a program that does this automatically.

This is 3840x1080 so assuming that you have two 1920x1080 screens that should work right?

It should, but any other resolution would require either manual resizing or third party software. If you just drop it in without scaling, then it would not look right.

Also, may I ask how you did that grid?

Glitcher007 In reply to Julien12826 [2011-11-12 12:59:00 +0000 UTC]
Very, VERY slowly. I made the grid visible, then went and used the vector tool to make lines. After that I added middle points to each line, shrunk the grid and then moved the middle/end (depending on whether it is x or y) over a set amount. Then it was a simple matter of some blurs and what nots. I'm sure there is an easier and quicker way to do it, I just don't know what it is.

Another question. How did you get that light like Octavia has behind her? I've been trying for ages to get it like that.
I btw use Photoshop CS5, if that helps making the explanation easier..
