Response to: Morgan's answer to Hachiro's question

Hachiro didn't flinch when Morgan glared at him. Didn't flinch when he started yelling at him.
"They're unnatural!" Morgan had shouted. "Mutated! If anything, why aren't you against them?! If my--!" He had stopped mid-sentence. Hachiro had noticed, but he didn't exactly care. Right now, he was focused on staying between Morgan and Phanta. He didn't want him hurting her.
"If I was able to, I would get rid of freaks for good," Morgan continued, still glaring at Hachiro and receiving a glare in return. "They shouldn't be here anyway, same with Travelers like you." That sentence made Hachiro's blood start to boil. He started to growl a little bit, his wings beginning to vibrate slightly. He felt Phanta place her hands on his wings comfortingly, but he didn't dare look away from the larger kit. "Now get the fuck out of my way before I ram your face with my arm plates." He rubbed the plates on his arms, as if emphasizing his point.
The bee-like kit stared at him for a moment, unmoving. Then he drew his lips back in a snarl. "No."
"'Chiro...!" Phanta's voice piped up, as if about to tell him they should just leave.
Hachiro didn't give her the chance to stop him, keeping his arms held out, spreading his upper wings up higher and his lower wings downwards to better shield the dark kit. "No! I'm not gonna get out of your way! I'm not gonna move and let some jerk hurt my best friend!" He shouted. "I'm not gonna let you scare me, and I'm not gonna let you scare Phanta!"
