Description First time making a cartoon proportioned character model in 3D. This was mostly an exercise in transferring from Maya to Blender. Blender is so much nicer (and free).

Next thing I need to work on is cleaner topology. The back is terrible, plus there's not enough edge loops for proper animation deformation and they're not in the right spot! I'm hoping to transfer a model like this to Unity once it's rigged and cleaned up. This model is only about 1700 polys with added smoothing on top.

The final model will be a template for characters like these: Character Studies 1 - Desiree and Tom
