Description "It worked!.. Mum's gonna kill us..." ^_^

===========

Yay, another render featuring the new Kids4 set from Daz!

I struggled with the lighting for this scene for two days and it is still not what I wanted to get as a result. However, I got tired, gave up and rendered the pic as it is.

The big kid is "Mark" from Kids4 series. The little teen is "Hiro4".

Wow great pic dude! I was wondering: What programs do you use to get these?

And: Where do you go to get them? Can you find them for free?

I'm sorry if I'm flooding you with questions, I just wanted to know for future reference.

Thanks! I render the scenes in Daz Studio and then do a bit of postwork in Photoshop. See the above conversation with ~Ekuhvielle with the same question and links

Nice work, I think it looks great. I'm not so sure I would enjoy being shrunk but there's one thing I know for sure, that boy is cute.

Yep, being "undersized" around some mischievous kid might be a bit frightening

To me, shrinking would be great, but that kid seems to have some things planned with the teem

True, but now that I think about it more deeply I think it would be fun.

Hmmm... I would like to ask you a question, do you spend a long time making these pictures? They're so cool and so detailed it's impressive. Sometimes I wish I could learn to make my own 3D images too, but I guess it's way complicated and I never like to have hard times when I feel like being creative, it breaks the magic.

Currently I can create a decent scene with a couple of characters in 3-4 hours. Approximately the same amount of time will be spent rendering the result. Learning to use the software, however, took quite some time, and I'm still learning and experimenting with new tricks. And as with any software it can sometimes be problematic to make it do what you want

I use Daz Studio. I think "Daz Studio" and "Poser" are two of the most user-friendly 3D programs out there. There are plenty of tutorials to get you started, both in manual and online. Daz Studio is actually free, and there are some free basic figures and props for it. You can download them and try creating something youself.

Yeah, it happens all the time. It took me some time to learn to use Photoshop and the programs I have bought, and I'm still learning actually, you never stop doing so. But I guess making 3D images is kinda harder than working on Photoshop, you tell me.

So... you use Daz Studio then? Cool. Where did you get it? There's a store that sells software, Stapples, do you think I will find some good programs there?

You can download DAZ Studio for free from their website ([link] ) There you can also find some free basic models to get you started ([link] )

Thank you for the links. I'm interested in getting DAZ Studio 3 Advanced, it looks fun. I'm going to Stapples to see if they have some good programs, if they don't I will then order DAZ Studio 3 Advanced.

I'd recommend getting the free version first (Daz Studio Basic) - try the whole 3D business out before deciding to buy Advanced.

Hmmm... yeah, I think you're right, I should do that before I go advanced. I don't even know if I will understand the program so yes, such a good idea.
