There could be no greater sense of desolation and despair than when my eyes caught sight of the floating city, and the dark "benefactor" presiding over its relocation.. From the murky deeps it rose, the mass trickle of waters flowing freely as it suspended in the air, signalling ill omens for humanity and mortalkind...
..and the dark benefactor, stalwart and silent, standing forth with condemnation for what mere surface dwellers caught sight of it against the horizon.. In the deepest darkest recesses of my form, I felt the familiar sensation of fear that wracked my mind, and slowly, steadily, my vision was left distortedly in a blur..
..for we were surely doomed.
