Background:

Sugilite is the oldest child, and with being the oldest you have some responsibilities. Since she could talk she has always been eager to help out her mother. She knew that it would come with some heavy issues but she was willing. Sugilite always admired the royal guards. Watching them spar in the training range, seeing all the amazing scars, she was enamored. Rarity was rather..repulsed by the idea of her precious little girl going off into battle coming back scarred both physically and mentally.

Sugalite was sent off for a bit to train with Tempest. Tempest taught her how to defend herself and how to channel magic with specific parts of her horn. When she turned 20 she was finally allowed to join the royal guard, much to Rarity's displeasure.
Relationships:

Twilight: Sugalite looks up to her mom very much, the pure power and regalness she has is admirable. They could go on and on about charts and stars forever. Twilight worried that when she had kids they may not share the same interests as her. She was lucky that she came out just like her dad.

Rarity: Sualite loves her mother but does not understand her at all. Why on earth does a princess need these…gigantic fluffy dresses? Why do I need to be decked out in gems and glitter? and most importantly, why can’t I help protect Equestria? Rarity only wants her daughter to be safe and maybe just a part of her, wanting her daughter to never the feel pain she and her friends went through.

Theo: Theo is one of her good friends. The rock in her life. Finally, somepony who could really understand her. Want to conjure something dangerous? Want to attempt to slay a beast? Well not the best idea but boy is it sure fun.

Love Lust: Sugilite and Love Lust try to understand one another but it never really goes anywhere. From trying to help each other when the other is sad to trying to understand their royal duties. They just don;t get it. “So you just sit around in a lavish crystal castle? Where do you go to have fun?” “So you can go and do what you like but can’t join the royal guard? Why?”
