Art summary of 2023
January - Mostly quick OC doodles on my phone's notes app
February - Mostly pen doodles on a notebook, usually of tabby cats
March - Didn't draw much on March, but I had a concept drawing of what eventually became my current avatar
April - A few digital drawings, some more notebook sketches
May - I got a whiteboard and used it to make a lot of quick doodles
June - That Niko drawing was my first "finished" drawing in a long time
July - Got the momentum back to make more finished digital drawings again, participated in Art Fight, and I made reference sheets and portraits for I & O, my new avatar characters. This was my best drawing month for finished pieces
August - Went back to quick doodles, this time on mspaint with a mouse at work. I made a prototype of a possible layout for a game
September - More OC drawings, still using an mspaint + Firealpaca combo with mouse during work hours
October - Went back to finished pieces for a bit to draw custom October art challenge prompts, but I dropped it after 2 drawings. I drew Karmin a lot and updated I's look with short hair
November - More mspaint doodles. The only colored drawing I had was this random meme with Ocram Ratte 's Apfel haha
December - By the second half of December I got back to making pieces with more effort, including pixel art and an acrylic painting on canvas
This was a year of mostly quick doodles in different mediums (phone notes app, notebooks, whiteboard, mspaint) and few finished pieces in my usual digital style. July, October and December were probably my best drawing months
I hope I can make more finished pieces this year 💪
