Description
The Guardian-class patroller is one of the smallest vessels in the Nuclean navy. They accompany escorts on patrol and escort missions, as well as acting alone in system security operations. Specifically designed to chase down and blast smaller vessels, they are very effective in anti-piracy and anti-smuggling operations.

Armament:
8 plasma torpedo launchers- fire large blobs of plasma contained in a force field, they are as accurate as a missile and just as deadly
70 particle bolt turrets- these fire dual pulsed particle beams, acting as light guns and point defense
Lance missile batteries- carry 100 megaton shaped charge nuclear warheads
physi-beam emplacements- a form of tractor beam mainly used for docking procedures, these can also be used to ensnare small vessels attempting to escape

energy shielding- powerful volumetric forcefields used to block kinetic and directed energy weaponry, they can dissapate a limited amount of energy before failing and requiring recharging. They are arranged in sections on the surface of the hull so if one area goes down the whole ship is not unprotected.
matterconverter- machine capable of rearranging matter on the chemical, nuclear, and physical levels. Systems are incorperated all around the ship for automated repair and for taking in useful materials

Powerplant:
3 hypermatter reactors- anihilate tachyonic matter to produce massive amounts of energy

Engines:
reality drive- FTL drive capable of crossing the galaxy in seconds as well as performing microjumps. Requires charging prior to jumps
