The cloth at the waist has the royal symbol of the house of Arisdale, a golden bird with two long red tail feathers.
He's finally done in blender...there are a couple things I have to fix up first, but good enough for these poses!

I made myself learn blender for the soul purpose of drawing him better for the graphic novel...of course it looks so awesome I may have to do the comic with 3D...What do you think?
He took over a month to do, so I'm sorry but I will not be able to make models for anyone else atm. I have at least 15 more characters to do for the first story, and then there is the second, and third book, and the potential 3 other books after that with my sister's characters with mine making guest appearances.
I'll be busy making models for the next couple years lol!

I also like the way the white of the armor contrasts with the skin colour and the black on the other parts of the body. That goes very well with the gold and the emeralds.

You could say he is the one I prefer to be my Sona, although I have a little everyone of my characters in me. It's like they spilt from me into their own person!

This is really cool! i like the character design and his clothes. How does poser work - did you 3D model his raptor qualities and clothing?

Thanks a lot! I made him in blender 2.68. He is completely built in blender head to toe claws, clothing and all! He has some morphing issues I have to fix yet. Some lessons I learned a bit late -_- Not looking forward to reconstructing the joints right, and possibly muscles X( but it needs to be done!
It took a month to do. I had sculpted a rough form in sculptris first, but it had triangles and lots of them ICK! So I watched tutorials on blender as I worked on it...of course as I said, not the right ones -_-
Making the clothing was fun, especialy the pants.

The clothing was actually easier! I am having morph issues, but I bet it is the joint problem!

I guess if the clothes are overlaid on the character with a joint issue, the clothes would react funny too.

Yea I can't wait to animate him either. I have a few tweaks to fix, being my first time there are things I over looked.
But he is completely facial rigged and all.
Then I ll go back and do some texturing.
I'm building the mesh for my human girl next, once she is done the rest should go faster.

You did an excellent work, and kudos to you for learning how to sculpt in Blender by yourself, you're a smart person
Do you plan to add some polygon textures to this model? Such as reptile scales texture on his feet, arms, hands, head and tail polygons, for example. I think those will make it to look even better

Yea your right! I will eventually. I have textures for the eyes, and the emblem on the cloth from the belt. I was eager to move on to Miral, and the other characters before I go back and do textures. Right now the cartoon look works for me
