Nah, Katara? No way. She's the crazy kid who blows up weapons factories and frees enslaved prisoners and can't stand to see bullies mock a blind girl. She's more Gryffindor-hero than even Aang, the main character.
Sokka I could see in all four of the houses, honestly, though Ravenclaw gives him too much credit I think (I never bought into the Sokka-is-a-genius fanon, because he wavers between being clever and being an idiot, and Katara's shown to be just as clever as Sokka but no one calls her a genius). I'd probably put him in Gryffindor because Gryffindor would be where all his heroes and idols attended.
Toph would be Slytherin though...maybe Gryffindor. Zuko I'd put in Hufflepuff because he just tries so damn hard, but things never work out for him. He's not noble enough to be the Gryffindor hero yet, but he's too honest and well-intentioned to be Slytherin, and he's not intellectual enough to be Ravenclaw. Aang's just plain too nice to be in Gryffindor.
I love speculating on nerdy stuff like this. >D
