Description
I finished my mask! I started this over four years ago but finally, on November 6, 2011, I finished the damn thing! I'm pretty happy with it overall; it's not quite what I had pictured but it works.

The "photographs" are of Martin Brodeur, Chris Osgood, and Manny Legace. There are quotes by Chris Osgood, Emile Francis, Garry Cheevers, Kevin Constantine, John Garrett, Jaques Plante, Gump Worsley, and Muzz Patrick.

All artwork was hand-drawn using graphite pencil on a primer base and then coated a billion times with clear-coat to protect it from flying pucks and sticks and skates and all the other stuff that happens around the crease during a game. I estimate about 100 hours of work went into this. Granted, it was broken up over 4 years so it wasn't so bad You can see the consequences of taking my time-- the red on Brodeur is from diving head-first into my posts more than a few times, and the scrapes in the Ozzie are from rubbing my helmet on the crossbar when I turn to look behind the net. And Manny's got a few chips from pucks and sticks. I'm sure he's used to it

And really. I have no idea what category to put this in. dA, why u no have goalie helmet category?
