I'm actually against basing someones personality from someones appearance. I just followed along for comedy value.
If you think about it, basing her around muffins is really stupid, because about ten other ponies said muffins the same time she did.
But hey! I can't fight against thousands and thousands of rabid bronies for bashing their intelligence.
But in the end, she's just a character we lashed on for fun and she is pretty much the mascot of MLP now, so everything about her is just fanmade canon.

This reminds me of the imperial legion armor in The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, which is driving me crazy because I want so much to gather a team together to make a Skyrim mod when it comes out.
If I could ask a HUGE favor, (one that I will most likely not be able to compensate you for, sadly) do you think you could maybe draw a hoof mounted device that allows earth and pegasus ponies to handle weapons and tools like a bow & arrow or a sword without having to use hoof tape or their teeth?
I've been thinking about a design where the bow has some sort of connector that allows it to connect to a corresponding piece on the hoof device and would also allow it to rotate in a range of about 45 - 50 degrees. (this way the bow won't constantly spin everywhere and impede a pony's ability to walk)
To use the device, a pony would simply grab an arrow out of their quiver with their teeth, line it up on the wrist/hoof-mounted bow and grab both the bow string and arrow with their teeth. They would then extend their arm forward, keeping the bow string pulled back, take aim, and let go.
I realize this is quite a bit to ask for (and probably difficult to understand), but I had the idea and I thought it would be better than "The magic of hoof tape!" or something...
