*Note: Not Vector Art. See media description*I know it's early, but I've been starting to think about Halloween costumes and playing around more with variations on the retro style I've been using. Really, this piece was the inevitable conclusion
Not much to tell beyond that, a girl in a black cat costume with the obligatory full moon behind her

Medium: Original sketch drawn over in Photoshop with the pen tool, not vectors since the lines and shapes rasterize. It is similar process, but by devart definitions, anything that rasterizes is not vector art. Details added with brush tool.

I've been browsing (and Favoriting and "pinning") all your Devs here and just saw the link to this on a shirt at cafepress... I see that it only has two shirts in it and stuff, do you have a newer shop with more in it? They changed their premium shops awhile back so you have no monthly fee for a premium shop right off the bat, it comes from what you make now, so if you make no sales in a month you pay nothing, which I find really handy. I've been a shopkeeper on cafepress (and zazzle) since 2002, sorry if I'm buggin ya, just thought I would let you know

Since Christmas stuff has been out in stores here since late July (and no.. sadly I am NOT kidding), it's nice to see some Halloween imagery!

I know I should think about Halloween costumes too now, but I just don't feel rushed. Especially when I go to an art school with a bunch of studious but party-rific classmates who all need to dress up for the HALLOWEEN ARTIST'S BALL!

I know, that's the question, how elaborate do I get? I was thinking of the Spring Sprite from Fantasia 2000. I have all the fabric because I was going to do it last year, but then had a wedding to go, but it's a pretty intense costume.

whooooooo.....she is sooooo cute!! how do you make it so that when u "vector" in photoshop you keep the lines super smooth and straight?

It's the pen tool. As I said, it works basically the same as vectors, but when you fill the color, it raterizes the shape meaning it cannot be resized without sacrificing quality
