This wall is actually several nets put together. The nets go all the way up to the surface and exists
Between two islands, there’s no way around that’s safe. The nets have large enough holes to allow
any mere to get through, this was deliberately done because living in the wall are a type of fish that attaches itself to the the intruder and explodes killing both itself and the intruder. This wall was created by a Mere kingdom some few hundred years ago.
