The only thing worse than being zapped by Rotom is being zapped by Rotom with a device intended to zap mindless bugs. What do you think that says about you? That you're a victim? Don't kid yourself, insect. Hurts, don't it? The revelation of Zapper Rotom's stings are both physically /and/ emotionally painful!
In terms of competitive potential, Zapper Rotom is subpar. Even with resistances to Electric, Steel, Fighting, and Grass, an immunity to Ground, and base 107 defenses, this Bug-type Rotom fails to accomplish near anything that one of its other forms doesn't do better. A weakness to Fire-type moves and Stealth Rock weakness doesn't do it any justice, either. Zapper Rotom could very well see itself within the depths of NU. At least then, it'd be a king among Bug-types and a good check to NU's many Grass, Dark, and Psychic-types.
