Description REFLECTIONS

The year is 2015.

-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! My face! Josepha screamed as she was rollling around in a pond of water.
-What happened? Holgar asked.
-It was on fire.
-How come?
-Look left.
As Holgar looked left he spotted a hellish fire inferno that radiated so much heat it felt like his blood was about to boil.
-Ah, your house is on fire, he said
-Indeed, but more importantly how do I look, Josepha said with an face that where supposed to be curious but since it was all burnt off it didn't look like any expression Holgar had ever seen.
-Hmmm... You should get some plastic surgery.
-Amen.

So Josepha went and got plastic surgery.
-This looks bad but it’s nothing we cant fix, the doctor said and as he said it he waved in circles with the scalpel in his hand. We are just gonna remove your face and sew another persons face on to your "ex face".
-Great, said Josepha.
-And you will have to be asleep for a week after the surgery.
-No problem.
-And it costs 50000 dollars.
-My insurance will cover that.
-Good! Then let's begin.

One week later Josepha woke up. Her bandages where already removed. She felt her face with her hands. She noticed there where some scars left from the surgery but otherwise it felt quite normal. Holgar was sitting beside her.
-Oh hi Holgar, she said when she spotted him.
-Hi.
-Could you hand me a mirror.
-No.
-Please.
-No, some guy hacked all satellite controlled nuclear weapons and demanded world domination.
-Really?
-Yeah and he got what he wanted. Also the first thing he changed was that he forbid people to care about their looks and hid all mirrors and make up products.
-Christ!
-Well otherwise everything is normal.
-So I will never get to see my face.
-You got that right.
Josepha was stunned. After a minute she said.
-Well how do I look.
-Eh... Well... Kind of... Normal.
-Like I used to look?
-No not at all.
-Oooookey... How is my nose.
-... changed... it's hard to describe.
-Do I look better or worse?
-That depend on who you ask.
-I have to get a mirror.

And so Josephas legendary quest for a mirror began! She looked in every store internet shops like eBay but she found no mirror and it seemed like no man nor woman had succeeded to hide a mirror. So instead she decided to lead a revolution.
She was walking towards Holgar's house. She was looking at peoples faces thinking "are they looking at me, do I look weird, what are you looking at". She ended up thinking that every one who looked at her thought she was ugly and every one who didn't look at her where avoiding her to look at her. It was a very paranoid and depressing situation. At last she reached Holgar's house.
-Hi, come in, Holgar said when he opened the door.
-Thank you, Josepha said.
-So what brings you here?
-Where can I find people to help me crush the new regime?
-You mean like a revolution?
-Yes.
-Well... what about Hippies, they seem to have the "change the world spirit"?
-No, they think this whole look natural thing is good.
-Eh, anarchists?
-I have thought about them but I decided that I'd rather have a mirror-less world with a government than one without.
-What about those depressed guys, you know black hair and stuff, they seem to care about hoe they look.
-Emos'? They are to sad to bother.
-Well at least they don't mind dying.
-Ok then! To the Emo-cave.
The Emo-cave was a disco full of emos'. None off those emos' wanted to join Josephas revolution.
-Come on let's go to McDonalds, Holgar said.
-But the food is so greasy you will get loots off pimples, Josepha answered.
-So what I will never be the one who have to look at them.
-Suppose so.

Sitting at a fast food restaurant with her friend Holgar while trying not to think about whether people was looking at her or not she suddenly came to think about the only way to get a mirror.
-At least you scars have disappeared, Holgar said.
-Shut up, let's do a revolution. Josepha said.
-Didn't we just try that?
-Yes but this time we don't need a lot off people we just have to convince him that looks are important.
-hmmmm, I don't know, Dravinskji is a powerful dictator and he's quite strait about what he thinks, also he seems to have a lot of people on his side.
-I don't care! I can't stand not knowing what I look like. I have to convince him that looks are important.
-Well... are they?
-Yes, now let's go!

So they went to Dravinskji's house which was down the street 50 meters away. Josepha knocked. Dravinskji opened.
-Da? He said
-Oh cut that fake russian accent. Holgar said.
-k, Dravinskji said.
-Are you Dravinskji, The almighty ruler of earth? Josepha said.
-Yes I am.
-Ok then stop this "no caring about looks thing"
-No way! Beauty comes from the inside, I was so sick about all the girls using too much makeup and people judging each other by how they look like. Face it, it is only a few who even can look like those supermodels you see on commercials and stuff.
-But people look terrible!
-No they look true! Beauty comes from the inside.
-That is correct. But it takes weeks, maybe months to get too know how someone is like on the inside. That is why we try to look on the outside how we feel on the inside. Beautiful.
-Hey you're right! Dravinskji said and closed the door.
-Wow, you changed the almighty ruler of earth's opinion in like thirty seconds, Holgar said
-I know, Josepha said not being able to think about anything better to say.

Later Dravinskji changed the law so that make up and mirrors where allowed. All the mirrors where brought back from their hiding places. And after that North Korea saved the world by launching nuclear missiles at the nuclear missile satellites. Russia, USA, France, Britain, China, India, Pakistan, Iran and Israel all said "why didn't we think of that". The UN sentenced Dravinskji to four months of community sevice.

And at last Josepha got to see her face. It looked kind of normal... You know... It's hard to describe.                          THE END
