One night, Bernadette has a dream where she sees an alternate life where she and Jules raise Sonic, alongside Longclaw and Chuck. In this alternate world, Eggman never conquered the planet, allowing them to live a normal life. She despises Eggman for robbing her of this life, and wishes she got to live it in some way...
This is loosely based off the dream sequence from Terminator 2, where Sarah sees an alternate life of her raising John
