1998,nearly three years after the annihilation of Tokyo by Destroyah and Burning Godzilla, New York would see the onset of the third age of monsters, that would destroy parts of Manhattan, the Sears tower and numerous other landmarks, by the battles between the US armed forces and a new 45 meter kaiju called Zilla. Zilla head made his way from French held Polynesian islands where numerous nuclear experiments were conducted and irradiated a marine lizard and turned it into a self reproducing kaiju. It was assigned to future G-force scientist Nick Tatopolus to study the specimen after it was to be killed but Zilla continued to elude the Military and had turned madison square garden into a nest for its hundreds of eggs. Dr. Tatopulos insisted that the kaiju had laid eggs somewhere in the city and should be found and either destroyed or moved to monster island, but he was dismissed and the monster was beleived killed by us submarines in the harbor. Tatopulos was confronted by a french special forces operative named Philpe Roach who led a team along side tatopulos to destroy the eggs, which hatched and were about to escape as Nick and roach were when us jet destroyed the whole area. Tatopulos was hired on by the American G-force as a research scientist and field guy who suprisingly became a foster parent to a surviving Zilla who would become a friend of man and helpcontain or destroy numerous kaiju in the future, even aiding Godzilla himself in the battles with monster X, Zilla would go to live on monster island but would be taken control of by the Kilaaks in 2009 and seny to New York with Rodan and Ragon and several cryptoclideos, but would soon be freed from their power and fight their alien kaiju.
