Team MLV is a team of Ultras and Half Ultras from the Central Universe, whose founding members are the protagonists of Ultraman M/L/V.

The team is technically an independent branch of the Space Garrison, similar to the Ultra Brothers, yet is also affiliated strongly with the attack team called ESIDARS.

——The Prophecy——
Team MLV started off as part of an ancient prophecy, known as the Prophecy of the Nadriuze, which was made by a race known as the Nadriuzel, the distant ancestors of the people who would go on to found Atlantis.

-——Ultraman M/L/V——-
During the early spring of the year 9700 CE, a genetically engineered Kaiju, Sigmadon, appeared at the site of the former headquarters of the Typhonian Project, located in the Hollow Lyrial. However, Sigmadon vanished before anything could detect its presence. In the morning of the following day, Daiki Miyabe arrived on the scene to investigate the site on behalf of the Space Garrison.

Hours later, Sigmadon was spotted near Miyotakura, a city in the Japanese Sigma-One Star Colony. ESIDARS quickly mobilized its forces, but Sigmadon proved itself able to defeat the entirety of the fleet, even defeating the organization’s strongest Combat Mech of the time, Galactron Omega, in one attack which left the mech heavily damaged and unable to fight further. As such, Sigmadon proceeded to breach Miyotakura’s defenses.

Soon after an evacuation order was sent to every citizen of Miyotakura, Ryan Genesis transformed into Ultraman Magnystic to put up a fight against Sigmadon. Despite having a slight upper hand at first, Magnystic was soon at Sigmadon’s mercy due to his beam attack failing to deal significant damage. Daiki then arrived on the scene as Ultraman Lionheart, but the results were the same. It was quickly assumed that Sigmadon’s skin could partially negate the effects of Specium Energy, prompting Hitoko Ebinuma to come to their aid as Ultrawoman Valor. Together, the three Ultras fired their beams and were able to destroy Sigmadon. After the battle, they decided to continue working together, resulting in the founding of Team MLV.

The Risen Sun, Location Sigma-One: Despite not being an official Subgroup of ESIDARS, until Episode 19, the Japanese Branch of ESIDARS allowed Team MLV to operate from their Headquarters, the Risen Sun, with Team MLV mainly operating out of Location Sigma-One.

Ultra MLV Bracelet: A form of Ultra Bracelet used by every Ultra member of Team MLV, the Ultra MLV Bracelet is compatible with the energy of the Mythic Bracelet, allowing Team MLV to access Mythical Mode.
Standard ESIDARS Firearms: Team MLV’s members each possess models of ESIDARS’s standard firearms.

In regards to their role in ESIDARS, Team MLV is referred to as a team of ‘Elite Civilian Operatives’ by Chigusa Kumagai on multiple occasions. This means that they are, essentially, both civilians and partial members of ESIDARS at the same time. This gives them privileges that very few other Civilian Operatives possess.
