Description
A warrior who wanders the globe in search of powerful opponents to better his own strength. He has dedicated his life to the art of fighting, but has in turn fed a demon deep inside his soul, one that hungers for the blood of strong fighters. Time will only tell if he can overcome this deadly persona.

Ryu is the protagonist and mascot for Capcom's Street Fighter franchise having appeared in every version of every game and in nearly every Capcom-related crossover. He has become famous for fighting so many things beyond his own universe and originating the famous Shotokan fighting style used by many other fighting games.

Ryu is Fighter #60 debuting in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS / Wii U as the game's forth DLC character and the first DLC fighter from a third party guest property. He represents the classic fighting game genre and is the first character to have multiple Final Smashes.
