I've played enough Five Nights at Freddy's 4 that these guys don't scare me anymore! I got to night 5, but then Fredbear instantly got me.... and jeez I'm done.... nope, so much nope! The way he just stands there right in front of you in the hallway is the scariest thing about the game. So, these guys in the picture aren't so bad anymore, relatively

About the picture. This took 3 days in total. I started it on Saturday and did all of the posing..... but then before I got a chance to work on it more on Sunday, Scott uploaded that "Thank You" picture, and this project feel to the wayside. I really wanted to finish it, but I couldn't find the motivation. But I took yesterday off work to catch up on everything I needed to do, so I finally had some free time to work on it more. I did all of the lighting and smoky effects on the second day, and then rendered it while I slept (it took forever because of the high resolution, complicated models, and number of lights).

Oh ... about the lights... I have a record-breaking number of them in this one... exactly 50 lights in total! Can you spot all 50 of them? Each eye is 2 lights, and there are 2 lights on each face. Other lights are scattered about to help give the impression of illumination from the eyes. Then, there are 8 colored area/room lights. My poor computer had so much trouble with this scene lol.

To help get a feel for the lighting work, here's a picture with no scene lights... just 42 eye lights, and the red and blue smoke systems:

Once the picture was rendered, I spent the third day touching up the picture, doing a bit of lighting by hand, and drawing shadows with paint.net. Then, into Adobe Lightroom for the photo editing. The result is rather stunning, I if I do say so myself. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out, considering my lapse in motivation.

And, it was also interesting, because as I was posing them on Saturday, I couldn't help but think that most of the characters looked really happy. I wasn't going for that effect, so that's part of why I stopped. But, then, lo and behold.... Scott's picture has them all looking happy and friendly! So, it was perfect for me to continue with the happy look. Freddy still looks boss, and Plushtrap... well let's just say he's had enough "fun" for a while XD. I get him on the X every time, it's really easy. Poor thing. lol.

Oh, and in other news, I got the Nightmare Freddy model from Typhoon Cinema today to match the other three. Drat my timing!! Right after I render the picture with Spygineer's model! I actually went back into SFM and tried to use the new model, but honestly, Spygineer's looked a LOT better for what I was doing here, so I left well enough alone.

Now that this picture is done, I'll be able to get back to work on the "Thank You" SFM remake. I've got almost all of the models I need now, and should have no problem finishing up the picture It's just going to take me a LONG time.
