This was drawn for a video I uploaded to my YouTube channel. It was a parody of Rolling in the Deep by Adele except it's about food and frying instead lol.

Drawing self portraits are always strange to me because I have to decide what elements/features about myself I should accentuate. It's funny because this drawing of myself is a heck of a lot different than my self portrait for my Once Upon a December cover. Guess it's mainly bc I just do what feels right in the moment without worrying too much about maintaining a specific art style.

I had a lot of trouble trying to figure out the foreshortening of the arm and trying to draw it in a way that looks good. Despite having been an artist for several years now, perspective still gets the best of me. After my Jane Doe drawing, I realized how much fun it is to use the Marker brush in FireAlpaca, so I decided to use it for this. This time, I just made a sketch and then cleaned up the sketch itself until it was pretty much the desired lineart. Usually, I would make a sketch on a different layer, lower the opacity, and then make a new lineart on another layer with the sketch as a base.

This was drawn in firealpaca and took about 3 hours.
