It's a bird! No, it's a plane! No, it's Goldie with the third drawing of 100 Days of Sketching on Instagram!
Today's prompt was "Legend". Originally, I was going to draw a character from League of Legends, but I only know about the character designs and not the characters themselves. Then, I remembered this series I watched in 2017 on Netflix: Legend Quest!! Legend Quest is a Latin American show based off of the studio's Las Leyendas series of films. If I had to compare it to something, I'd say it's like Gravity Falls meets mythology.

The character I decided to draw from this series is Teodora Villavicencio. She is a ghost from the 21st century (the main setting is 1800s Mexico) who loves fashion and mecha anime. She is my absolute favorite. Because she is a ghost, I have an excuse to put her in a standard floating pose. Hah! I love Teodora's design. It feels like something I would wear: hair scarf, boots, jacket, YES!
Highlighters. Are. The. Bane. Of. My. Existence.
I wanted to color this with highlighters in order to give off a pop fluorescent feel, but the watery markers would start tearing at the paper. Ah, I don't think it looks too bad in the end. I tried covering my mistakes with hatching. Speaking of which, I am not that pleased with the skin hatching. Despite the problems I faced, I am still very glad that I drew this character. She kinda special to me since she is someone I can relate to.
