Here's a game I would like to see!CAPCOM VS TYPE-MOON, in the same style of the Marvel Vs. series!
Characters of Capcom (Street Fighter, Megaman, Darkstalkers, Resident Evil, Strider, Breath of Fire, and so on) facing Type-Moon's characters (Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime, Melty Blood, and so on) in intense and fun 3 on 3 combats!

I would pre-order this in a heartbeat. Just add in Ryougi, Dante, Akiha, Vergil, Gilgamesh, Sigma, Ciel, Megaman X, and Felicia and I am sold. Though I know you'd more because 42 would be awesome xD
Btw just curious. Who do you think would rival who and who would be friends/enemies with who if you wrote a whole list?

Well, I don't know Type-Moon as well as I know Capcom, but when I was making this I thought about Saber x Zero (clash of sabers xD) and Assassin (Kojirou) x Strider. About friendships, maybe Tsukihime vampires with some of the Darkstalkers characters, Ryu and Archer/Shirou (I don't know, but all the idealistic thing about Archer/Shirou and Ryu's will to be always fighting would perhaps make a link between them), Chun Li and a strong female character of Type-Moon's side (Rin or Arcueid maybe?). Also, Sakura with Sakura would be funny too, hehe xD

Probably...that is if Archer/Shiro is/are tolerant around Ryu. Shiro maybe, but Archer is kind of an asshole. I expect snarkiness and irony out of him even toward someone as noble as Ryu.
Probably Chun-Li and Rin, and maybe Sion as far as law enforcement goes. I'm not sure about Arcueid, but if Chun-Li can get along with someone as naive as Morrigan, then maybe Chun-Li can have a brunch with Arcueid and walk away alive.

Yeah, I tought about Archer being an asshole to Ryu too. But at least Shirou would have a nice link with him, I think. Perhaps if the original Megaman was present, it would be a friend of Shirou too. That thing of protecting people, being a superhero... xD
Both Capcom and Type have great female characters, I think most of the game fun would be them. And here in the comments someone mentioned a battle between Saber's Excalibur and Ryu's Hadouken. I wonder who would win xD

X's True Potential vs. Unlimited Blade Works would be some intense battle! Put them in the Virus Stage 3 background with the Wily sign, let UBW kick in and X's hands glow with awesome and a battle of endless copying will ensue. The funny thing is that X and Saber would get along very well since they both have a justice-complex and Zero and Archer would probably get along as well without Archer being a total dick.
Archer is essentially a jerk-version of Shiro, so Shiro and Ryu and even classic Megaman would all get along just fine.

X and Zero are planet-busters? I played the MM series for years and I didn't know that.
Did you forgot about Darkstalkers characters? Pyron is a solar-system buster and reality warper, Jedah is a warper, Morrigan is....I think she's also a solar-system buster (Well, I don't know her real powers)

It's actually pretty easy. To fight with TM you have to face magic with magic and concepts with concepts. Get some Darkstalkers and Red Earth folks, add Bass.EXE and some MMZX folks (give them identities as heroic spirits and Noble Phantasms) Ingrid and some usual Capcom cast (not so many SF) and we're done.
Saber can fight with Leo from Red Earth (they have a nice rivality if you think about it, both were kings of their countries and both feel they have falied to their people)
to counter the Excalibur blast, well, you have Morrigan's lazah, the Shinkuu Hadouken, Zero's Shouryudan Repujjin, Omega's techniques (his seven layered shield, his Assassin-like 7 hit combo) Idk, there are lots of posibilities, characters with shields can avoid the Excalibur Blast and Gae-Bolg too
The TM characters have their weaknesses too (Shiki can't use those killer eyes for long, Saber can't use more than 2 Excalibur, Archer can't see someone who moves faster than Mach 10 a nice advantage for Capcom)
Also, make sure the Satsui No Hado is here (a nice power up is needed) and Jon Talbain (Vampire vs Werewolf rivality), Pyron as well

It's nice to see for once that someone who knows both studios can find a way to equalize their characters. Fans from both sides can be really ignorant when it comes to who would win in a fight *cough* Rakkyo fans *cough*. If you had to list your own personal rivalries, who would you see rivaling who in this?

I agree with you, Type-Moon's characters are for more powerful and have plenty more abilities than Capcom's in general.

And story-wise, having them co-operate against Mavericks and rogue Servants would be very fun. Sigma and Gilgamesh working together against the likes of X, Saber, Zero, and Archer. It's too perfect. Technology and Magic finally work together for once against dark forces. That would just be too awesome for words.
Yeah, but hey, Marvel is a lot worse and Capcom has tussled with them and come out alive. So why can't Ryu walk out of Type-Moon with his feet still attached?

Morrigan vs. Arcueid
Lilith vs. Len
Chun-Li vs. Rin
Trish vs. Rider
Sigma vs. Gilgamesh
Vergil vs. Kouma
Tessa vs. Kohaku
Wesker vs. Nrvnqsr
M.Bison vs. Roa

Gene vs. Akiha (I really don't know who these two would rival against. I leave these to you)

Jin vs. Berserker (I really don't need to see Zangief in this. Jin is good enough with his robot IMO. Plus, both are nuts)

Archer's rival could be....hmm...Ashe from ZX Ad??
Omega (in Zero form) is the PERFECT rival for Saber (both have a sword, both have a shield, it's a contest of Excaliblast agaisnt kinetic laser shield of no loss)
either Harpuia / Aeolus or Ophiuchus are nice rivals for Rider (all of them are based on monsters, except one of them who was based on a god, for example: Rider is Medusa, Harpuia is the Suzaku, Aeolus speaks for himself (G.G.O.W) and Ophiuchus was based on the gorgons's desing)
Bass.EXE stands as a threat for Gilgamesh, he can copy every techinique Gil uses, like GOB and Ea
To face a TM character, you need to counter magic with magic, cuz most of their characters use magic attacks.
I was thinking..a nice crossover will be FSN and the Megaman Zero or ZX characters. The Servants that came from the future
Overall, it will be an interesting game to buy and altough Capcom has a good relationship with TM, this is just a dream. We can't expect TM to agree to include one of their characters for MvC 3

I'm not sure what Type-Moon is but i had a comment on the layout.
Usally you place the top title charters on the left side if your faceing the cover like this is looking at it.
This is done for a English speaking market for the reason of reading left to right.
Your work on placein the Figures is really good, little lost on some Capcom but it still works, hint thier dont place like colors on top try to get complamenty near each other(colors across the color wheel from each other).
Looks like a game i would be intreested in buying, Good job overall, just a few things.
Reason for the Reasons...I'm in college and just took a series of design classes, Layout and so on in Design. Trying to place helpful tips.

Type-Moon is a game developer responsable for the visual novels of Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime and others, many of them adapted to anime media.

As for the game art, im a fine arts/cartoon comic student that took a few design classes so we've been going over layout, balance, compasion and so on. So im glad to help and hopful add thing that will make you grow and see these things as my professors have with me.
