maybe it took you a long while until
you finished it, but it shure pays off,

this rocks... plain and simple... i know how hard it is to airbrush on the comp, and have a great deal of respect for anybody that can pull it off this well. i really thought it was hand drawn/painted at first.

Very sweet, I admire your patience, no way I could pull this off with a mouse. I agree with helldragon though, cause it seems that the eye and especially ear are much more developed and brought forward than the neck and snout. Perhaps this is where you mentioned that your technique developed? I'd say go back and and apply what you have learned to those areas, and you will have a real nice peice going here. Maybe you can even find some way to actually use this, so that there isnt the white area in the bg.
On other quick comment, the iris of the eye doesn't seem to be circular. Maybe dragons are just cool that way though.

absolutely wonderful-if i could point out any fault at all it would be with just some of the coloring around the snout-but even that is just nitpicking...great job,i knew this would look cool in color

Very nice work... I love the drawing work and the airbrushing and texturing you've added through PS & PSP is just great. If I had to give some helpful criticism I would say that it looks more 3D around the eye than anywhere else, maybe if you gave it equal 3D shading throughout the image and more along to the snout (where it looks most 2D) then it would really bring the image to life. But that's just me nitpicking, I REALLY do like this, overall it's excellent work

mmm, its very nice, but it actually doesnt look mean enough to be a dragon. the way you drew the neck also makes me think its a hand puppet. overall a great piece though.
