Here's a capture from my new (exceptionally large) batch of screen captures from Raccoons episodes. This one comes from "Surprise Attack", the very first episode of the series proper. It's early in the morning in the Evergreen Forest and Ralph, Melissa, and Schaeffer are up fishing out in there boat. Sure looks relaxing, doesn't it? They're not having much luck catching anything though, and, feeling bored, they mention they have a big plan in store for Cyril Sneer, which the pigs happen to overhear and assume the gang is planning to overthrow their boss...Ah, fishing. It can be relaxing, yes, but if you don't catch anything, it CAN become pretty boring quickly!As for my thoughts on the first episode...It's a good first episode, but not the show's best. To say the first episode of a show is its best episode seems to imply to me that in your opinion, the show went DOWNHILL in quality right from the start. It does do its job as serving as an introduction to the characters and the show itself, though, and really, could you expect any more out of the first episode of a TV series?
