Description
*After escaping Aldryx, and healing at the church under Sarvente's surveillance, the group head to the park and meet up with Hex and Whitty. they were watching the two play and take turns against Hex. Meanwhile, Oliver was sat with Nikusa, who was enjoying them play.*
Oliver: ...N-Nikusa...?
Nikusa: Hmm? what is it?
Oliver: u-umm...back when you were fighting Aldryx...you...looked different. Well, your eyes did anyway.
Nikusa: Huh, what do you mean about my eyes?
Oliver: They changed...they were dark with black cracks under them...? Was that...you slowly using your power...?
Nikusa: U-Uuuh, well yeah! It is actually.
Oliver: really?
Nikusa: Mmhmm, but I don't show off my powers much.
Oliver: I understand. You're the queen of the void. You could do whatever you want. But you keep your powers under wraps. I do too. ...Mostly.
Nikusa: Mmhmm, that's right!
Oliver: ...I just wanna ask...were you...were you watching me and AGOTI rap battle in the void?
Nikusa: Uuuuuuuh...*nervous chuckle*
Oliver: ...I'll take that as a yes.
Nikusa: Heh heh heh!
Oliver: you did, it's obvious.
Nikusa: Yeah yeah, I know that. I just wanted some entertainment! Do you know how boring it was in there?
Oliver: Alright...So it was you that got curious about my powers when I fought Agoti...
Nikusa: Mnhmm. Pretty much.
Oliver: But then why is Solazar after you...? You didn't put Agoti in the void, Mommy Mearest and Daddy Dearest did...
Nikusa: Umm...it's hard to talk about?
Oliver: It's going to be hard to deal with if we run into him again, so we're on the same page here.
Nikusa: Mmhmm, yeah. I don't usually like getting myself into danger.
Oliver: none of us do. Besides, you don't take damage if yesterday's taught me anything.
Nikusa: Well...when you put it like that...heh.
Oliver: hmm…we should go. It’s starting to get late already…
Nikusa: Yeah, we should be getting home, I'm exhausted.

*After saying goodbye to Whitty and Hex, the four return to Oliver’s place. Nikusa ducks down as she gets inside, while Oliver, Jack, and Cherry enter like normal.*
Nikusa: We're back home!
Oliver: heh. Good. No need for a repeat of last time.
Nikusa: Heh heh heh, yep! I don't want to bump my head again.
Oliver: Sorry. my room’s kinda small…hehe…
Nikusa: It's alright. I'm getting used to it.
Oliver: uhh…heh…if not for Jack and Cherry, I don’t really leave this place…
Nikusa: Heh, seems that way! Still, those two are quite fun.
Oliver: they are…heh. And you are too.
Nikusa: Aww, gee! Thank you!
Oliver: Uhh...kinda of a weird question, but...are you uhh…Aldryx and Agoti’s mom or something…?
Nikusa: H-Huh?! Me?!
Oliver: well, you do seem pretty motherly...heh.
*Nikusa blushes and smiles softly at the comment.*
Oliver: u-umm…s-sorry…that’s uhh…
Nikusa: I-It's alright, don't worry about it.
Oliver: really…?
Nikusa: Yeah of course! I'm not mad you asked me a question! I love the time I'm spending with you and your friends.
Oliver: Hehe, alright.
*Just then, Nikusa picks Oliver up just to see his reaction.*
Oliver: !! w-whoa..!
Nikusa: Heheheh, aww! You look so small from up there!
Oliver: *blushes* I-It's n-not my fault I'm half your height...or less...
Nikusa: Heh heh, I know that for sure, you cutie!
*Oliver blushes, doing his best not to look down too much.*
Nikusa: Heh heh heh! You like like a small child!
Oliver: I-I'm not...!
Nikusa: Oooh yes you are!
*Oliver's face goes beet read as Nikusa teases him.*
Nikusa: Ha! ha! ha! It's alright! I'm just having fun with you, dear!
Oliver: I-I know...
Nikusa: Heh, alright. Let's go and get some rest!
Oliver: A-Alright. those two are already asleep.
*Oliver and Nikusa lay down as they go to sleep, Oliver was still a little nervous about Nikusa cuddling him in her sleep The next morning, Oliver wakes up, still being cuddled like a little teddy bear, in comparison to Nikusa in size. Soon after she woke up, it was revealed that she was secretly hugging him in her sleep deliberately, leaving Oliver a little flustered knowing that.*
Nikusa: Heh heh heh! So, how did you sleep, Oli?
Oliver: p-pretty well…
Nikusa: Heh, I bet you did. Man. I like playing around with you.
Oliver: u...uhh...w-w...what do you wanna do today? After breakfast...obviously.
Nikusa: I'll try and think of something.
Oliver: great! Plus it'll wake those two up as well.
*Oliver gets to cooking breakfast. the smell of bacon, eggs, and sausages woke Jack and Cherry up.*
Jack(BF): Mmmmm....hm??
Cherry(GF): Mmmmm...
Oliver: Heh, breakfast's nearly ready! come get it!
Cherry(GF): Oh yaay! Thank you!
Jack(BF): Bap Beeeep!
Oliver: No problem! And here, because I heard you like it Cherry!
*Oliver throws Cherry a can of Cherry soda. And Jack gets a regular cola.*
Cherry(GF): Oooooh, thanks!
Oliver: And I got you one too Jack! Do you want one, Nikusa?
Nikusa: Sure thing!
*Oliver hands Nikusa a can. As she takes a swig, she feels the sweet bubbly taste of the cola.*
Oliver: Is it nice?
Nikusa: Ooh! I love it!
Oliver: Great!
*As the three have their drinks, Oliver serves up breakfast for them all.*
Jack(BF): Bap Beeep!
Cherry(GF): Thank you!
Nikusa: Thank you!
Oliver: N-No problem.
*They all started eating their food together at the table. Oliver smiled as he saw everyone eating, having a fun time.*
Cherry(GF): So what will we be doing today?
Oliver: I dunno...hmm...I guess we could...go to the mall or something?
Nikusa: That would be a good idea, I haven't been to one before!
Oliver: Cherry? You wanna explain this one?
Cherry(GF): Oh sure I can! I'll explain it on the way there.
Oliver: Perfect!
*After breakfast, the group head on over to the mall. Cherry explaining what they are to Nikusa on the way.*
Cherry(GF): So a mall is a huge and busy building with lots of stores to visit inside, and it also comes with a food court as well. They're pretty popular too. You're gonna love being here!
Nikusa: Ooooh, how interesting!
Oliver: yeah.
Jack(BF): Bap Beeep Beei!
*The group soon arrive at the mall, and as they do, Nikusa was able to take in all the sights.*
Nikusa: Whoa, this place is amazing! Let's go and look around!
*The group look around many stores. And there were even a few where Nikusa didn't have to duck to get in! Cherry showed Nikusa all kinds of clothes and jewellery.*
Nikusa: Oooh, these look pretty!
Cherry(GF): Mmhmm, I know right?
*After hours of shopping, the group take their stroll through Newgrounds City. Jack was humming as he skipped playfullyas Oliver smiles at the group as they were happy and having fun.*
Cherry(GF): I'm so glad that Nikusa is having so much fun with us lately.
Oliver: Me too. She's really nice...
Cherry(GF): Mmhmm, and she's quite beautiful as well.
Oliver: Y-Yeah...hmm...Cherry.
Cherry(GF): Yes Oliver?
Oliver: During my rap battle with Solazar, were you able to gauge how strong he was? In comparison to you or your parents?
Cherry(GF): Hmmm, somewhat yeah?
Oliver: And...?
Cherry(GF): And he does seem stronger, way more than my parents?
Oliver: For real...?
Cherry(GF): Mmhmm, it's very hard for me to give an exact result.
Oliver: *sigh* for once I was kinda hoping I didn't have to hear that response...fine...I'm gonna have to make sure I'm ready for this. I don't want Jack to become corrupted again...
Cherry(GF): Yeah, I've been worried about all this for a while...I just hope nothing goes wrong.
Oliver: I'll make sure it doesn't...
Cherry(GF): Right, me too!
Oliver: Thanks, Cherry.
Cherry(GF): You're welcome!
*After dropping the shopping off, the group continue exploring. Nikusa was carrying Jack on her shoulders. As the group continue their stroll, they go past the beach.*
Nikusa: Heh, enjoying the view little man?
Jack(BF): Beheheheheep!
Nikusa: Oh hey it's the beach again!
Oliver: heh, we keep coming past this place.
Nikusa: Can we hang out there again?
Oliver: Sure, I don't see why not.
*The group soon get settled on the beach.*
Nikusa: Hmmmm...back on the beach! The sand feels so soft on my feet!
Oliver: hehe, glad you like it.
Nikusa: I'm gonna go play in the water
Cherry(GF): Heh, we'll come too!
Jack(BF): Bap Beep!
*After politely declining, Oliver sits on the sand while the group run into the sea. This is the first time Oliver had seen Nikusa without her jacket. He folded it nicely for her as he sat on the shore.*
Nikusa: Heh! This is fun!
Jack(BF): Beeeep Beeeii!
Cherry(GF): Hahahah, this is gonna be fun! I love the beach in summer!
*Meanwhile, Oliver watches from the beach. He liked watching Nikusa having fun and looking beautiful in the process.*
Oliver: S-She's so pretty...N-No! gotta focus...
AGOTI: Well, fancy meeting you here, midget man!
*Oliver stands up and turns around to see AGOTI in his face. He didn't expect to see him show up here!*
Oliver: What are you doing here?! I thought you were off to find Solazar!
AGOTI: I did. And now, as my manager requested...He wants me to eliminate you...
Oliver: Why are you after Nikusa?
AGOTI: Eh? After her? That's what he's doin'?
Oliver: Yes!
AGOTI: ...ah crap. Sorry midget man.
Oliver: Eh?
*It looked like AGOTI didn't want to hurt him by force.*
Oliver: ...Wait...So ya don't really wanna hurt us?
Agoti: Nah. Sol's kinda pullin' the strings here.
Oliver: Figures...But, if you're not here to fight, then what are you doing here?
AGOTI: Well, just ta chill. I'm waiting for Tabi.
*AGOTI sits down next to Oliver as he chills on his beach chair.*
Oliver: Tabi? you know he's gonna go nuts as soon as he lays eyes on Cherry right?
AGOTI: Not while I'm here kid. ...Nikusa's a great friend of mine. And I don't want Sol to hurt her. Or you and your friends.
Oliver: So tell him no.
AGOTI: It ain't that simple kid. He's the power of a star, enough to eviscerate the planet ova here.
Oliver: Say what?! ...Hmm...actually, that makes sense...You're a terra former...so if you did obey Solazar...you'd have all the advantage you need right here...
AGOTI: uh-huh.
Oliver: And what about your bro? He a pyromancer?
AGOTI: No, hehe...he can manipulate fire and spit oil. ...he attacked you all, didn't he?
Oliver: Yeah...
*As the two converse, Nikusa spots Agoti. And approaches friendly.*
Nikusa: AGOTI!
AGOTI: Ey! Nikusa!
Nikusa: What's up!
AGOTI: Not much! How ya doin'!
Nikusa: I'm doing great!
AGOTI: that's good! How are these guys treatin' ya?
Nikusa: They're treating me very well, AGOTI!
AGOTI: heh, good!
*After some time, Tabi appears and AGOTI goes off with him. After watching them go, Cherry comes out of hiding with Jack.*
Oliver: phew...that was close...
Cherry(GF): Is he gone?!
Jack(BF): Bep Boo?!
Oliver: Yeah...phew...I'm glad AGOTI was here...but now, we can relax...again.
Jack(BF): Bap Beeeeep! Booo!
*Oliver sits on the beach and keeps an eye on the others. This time, Nikusa spots him sat alone.*
Nikusa: Why are you sitting by yourself, little man? Why don't cha come into the water with us? It feels great!
Oliver: I wanna keep an eye out for any trouble...
Nikusa: I know that, but you're missing out on all the fun.
Oliver: yeah...but I'd rather do that if it means keeping you guys safe.
Nikusa: Aww, that's understandable. I'm glad you're so protective of your friends and I.
Oliver: I...I've had nightmares about losing people. And I can't let that happen. I WON'T.
Nikusa: Oh no, really?
Oliver: yeah...everyone becomes these...black beings...with red eyes and teeth...even Skid and pump...people who shouldn't even have been brought into the situation...I'll take down ANYONE who tries to hurt my friends...I did it with Tabi, Tankman, Tricky, Huggy Wuggy...I'll do anything to keep them safe. ...We've made all kinds of friends here too...and I'll be dammed if anyone goes to hurt--
*To cut Oliver off, as he was going on a little too long, Nikusa picks him up again, smiling at how brave he sounded. Before giving him a kiss on the cheek.*
Oliver: -them?
Nikusa: You are just so brave and I like that!
Oliver: Y-You...kissed me...
Nikusa: Why of course! I thought it would be nice. And that it would help take your mind off whatever's goin' on upstairs.
Oliver: w-well…thank you.
Nikusa: You're very welcome!
*Nikusa smiles back again as she sits him back down. After some thinking, Oliver hops in the sea with Nikusa and the others. They all were having many fun adventures at the beach together. Meanwhille elsewhere...*
Solazar: hmm…I see…AGOTI isn’t going to fight, and Aldryx has gone missing…fine. I will have to do this myself…
