The kids of Disney’s Recess in their highschool years- woo hoo! Creative license! I’m submitting this kinda half-finished in the shading areas because I want to submit it to the current contest at ~Recess-FanClub

According to the episode ‘The Lost Ball’, they are the graduating class of 2006: which means they’d be in Year 12 this year! However, I actually drew this about two years ago- it was originally intended to be them in their sophomore year (Year 10)- but basically, it’s up to you to decide what age they look .

Anyways, the contest says I should describe some things, so here they are, from the left:
*Vince’s shirt is modelled from the one he used to wear underneath his basketball jersey; his hair is inspired from the episode ‘Copycat Kid’; his bag is green to represent his missing jersey.
*T.J.’s cap is gone! Gasp! Don’t fret, he still has it- it’s just been put in storage because it was beginning to get a bit tattered (he’ll end up giving it to his son ). His bag is red to represent his missing cap.
*Mikey (in back) has a ponytail, simply because I think it suits his dramatic style; he’s holding a book on poetry; he is gradually getting slightly thinner, which is why his clothes look particularly baggy.
*Spinelli’s old leather jacket is tied around her waist (it still fits but it’s really tight); she’s a casual skateboarder (got this from the official ABC recess site: in one of the ‘photo gallery’ pictures, she’s riding a skateboard. And in the episode ‘Spinelli’s Masterpiece’ she rides one). Her bag is orange to represent her missing ski cap.
*Gus (in back) has had a growth spurt; he has stuck with the army style clothing; his hair is slightly longer, with a kind of spiky punk look.
*Gretchen has braces; the books she’s holding are ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ and ‘Othello’; her backpack is pink to represent her missing pink bow.

So err…yeah. Once the contest’s over, I might renew to the newer version with the edited shading. But for now- ta da!
