Description
when I had to make civil work in a senior residence I made a series of 4 old persons.I took photos with my olympus digital cam and used them as reference to make the digital portraits

The shadowing on this is very well done, and so is the detail on the clothes. I think the outlines could be a bit sharper though, especially in the face. Now it looks a bit blurry and smudged. Still awesome work!

Very nice ideed. The texture of the clothes look great, as do the wrinkles on the face. The only think that bugs me is the gray skin and eyes under the glasses. However, I see from your gallery that you do a lot of surreal stuff. Nice work.

you have to wade through an UNBELIEVABLE amount of "crap" to find anything of merit in the Indy-Art section anymore,
but i am glad i took the time, because i was rewarded with this.
There is such tenderness in how you chose to do your model's face, and although i was blown away by the shadow and texture work that you've clearly mastered on the clothes, it is this sympathy for the subject that really won me over. you should be very proud of this, both on an artistic and human level.

I think that it's a wonderful piece and I really like the way you rendered the clothes. Though I wonder about the rendering on the face. It appears to highly contrast with the soft and subtle shadows and highlights of the clothes. Otherwise, very good job.

Wow.. the realsim is astounding. From the browse menu it looked almost like a photo. It also looked like that Orville Redenbaucher guy; had me laughin at first. Anyway, fantastic job to say the least. You've got a great skill there. Keep it up!

beautiful job here mate... love the fact that the sweater is so detailed it stands out and looks extremely real in this case great shading, coloring etc... the only thing that caught my eye wrong was the reflections in the right eye glass - looks to big yah know? oh well still an exceptional piece.
