Description
I could have completed this over a month ago (the original pencils having been drawn LAST YEAR), but my wacom tablet was on the fritz and I haven't been able to do ANYthing until just now. Anyway... this is a Devi, or a female Indian spirit, drawn in a pose that is very classical of Indian art. She is holding a lotus flower, which is a symbol of fertility and enlightenment.Related content

Excellent representation of a Hindu'ish Goddess. You put so much detail by using jewerly and you even used symbolic 'language'. (ex:lotus and upturned palms) + fav.
Her hair reminds me of serpents for some reason, but that is a good thing in my book - her golden eyes and little belly make her all the more real - I may have to borrow your talent in the future.

Very beautiful! The coloring is amazing, and while she is in a more "classic" pose, I really like her hair and the petals blowing in the wind. Her yellow eyes are also great. I'm with Keatts here... I'll stick to photomanipulations but I will have to come and steal your talent one day.
