FLICKERING HALO is a comic book I'm developing. This backround is a design for the main character. Thorndike. Think of him as something like a religious super-hero. I can't explain the plot in this blurb, but essentially it's about the unification of world religions, saving humanity and all that jazz. I don't think I will make any drastic changes to it, although maybe a modification with the top and bottom designs.Related content

I love this picture (its my current desktop wallpaper, in fact), but just a point I hope you'll take as constructive criticism (or even simply an observation): the waistline seems kind of feminine. Which is compounded by the posture, which also seems sort of effeminate. The rest of the body is of a more masculine (though really just androgynous) form, but until I read the description, I assumed it was a moderately well-muscled female. If that was the look you were going for, then that's perfectly fine, of course. If it wasn't, it might be a good idea to thicken the muscles on the arms just a little, and make the dip of the waist less pronounced.
Again, its a fabulous picture. I hope to see more like it.

Wow... if i had the time, i would favourite all of your pieces... but there is just too many, and they are all amazing. i love the wings, and the swirly things... actually, i just love the whole thing, lol..

I like the metallic/shiny look to it, and the way you used the lines to create a certain effect..the concept for those wings are pretty cool, too, it's semi-transparent , sort of like thin plastic, not the stereotypical wings with feathers etc.
