Hello friends! I had lots of great suggestions for this June's artwork, but I unfortunately just ran out of time to make all of them! This is a take on one of the suggestions I got: beach. These two girls are the main characters in a comic I'm working on, called "I Died Here." I've been sketching a lot of them, so that I'll be really comfortable drawing them in the comic! That comic is going to take a long time to write, but my goal is to start releasing it before the end of the year. Wish me luck!
On a side note, I think this might be the most detailed I've ever made a Copic piece. I think my lighting could have been stronger, and that I should have used some more muted colours for everything to look like it's in the shadows, but I'm overall quite happy with how this turned out!
