i tried the simple poly-method: tracing the main lines->make them one object-> surface modifier->convert into editable poly->finetuning the poly (99% of the whole work)->enabling "nurms subdivision" (since 3dmax 6 i think. pretty simmilar to mesh smoth modifier with "nurms"-setting).
i've endless trubles in making that completely of 4-sided polys.(especially the air-thing-hole in the front).
i'm sorry to say that but there will be no update for some time. i' so bloody full of work for the next 2 weeks.
So i promise: I'll finish that....at any cost....later.
merci

This is really starting to look nice. What method did you use at the end of the day to do the smooth lines of the body?

well, besides this being amazing 3d work, very cool design and etc, which you already know ( ) i do have a couple of suggestions:
the dark things on the sides dont seem very strong, it looks like the might fall off in a snap.
the front is VERY low, its a problem if this thing needs to go up a hill or goes from going downhill to flat ground.
third, the back part is WAY too close to the back wheel. from top, that is.
besides those technical stuff, this thing is nearly perfect, id love to see it textured and colored.

<-3d artist + designer. the only thing i really have to say negativly about this is the front. the pointy heavy front doesnt seem to balance with the back, it makes it look kind of like a weird bobsled. otherwise i love the rest of it.

Beautiful design; the lines remind me of those elegant 30’s-40’s-era train engines. Furthermore, it looks like a feasible design (though visibility might be a problem), which makes it even more drool-worthy. Spectacular work.

Neat. I'm no 3-D artists so I can't really critique, but I think it's pretty cool. Hell, I'd buy one of they made them!
