This is obviously a shot of a California beach. As much as I disliked living in La Jolla, I have to give you the fact that the coast line and mountains are some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. What makes this shot work so well is a combination of the negative space (all the water, though it should be called positive space ), the choppy waves in the center that add texture, and the transparency of the shore towards the bottom. It's beautiful how you can look down from the mountain, into the water, and see that the earth underneath the water looks very similar to the earth above it. Beautiful color. It could be a bit sharper, but I love this composition.

Amazing perspective on this, I love how the sea dominates the picture, it looks like it's going to take over the land. The palm trees bending in the breeze are quite nice too, as if they're bending down to the sea. Wonderful colour and composition, great photo as usual!
