Weapons: Celestial light/fire weapons and constructs(preferring a halberd, a longblade, or a mass of spiked chains), blasts of celestial flame

Likes: Destruction, ravaging and destroying everything and anyone that gets in his path, fighting a worthwhile opponent, battle in general

Dislikes: Being imprisoned

Personality: In contrast to the other more stoic and composed angels, Abaddon is a bloodthirsty maniac who constantly hungers for battle and destruction making him an ideal attack dog and enforcer of sorts for Heaven's more extreme methods when properly reigned in. His imprisonment in Purgatory has only worsened him, driving him deeper into madness and rage and if left unchecked he would annihilate the entire world and leave it scorched in his wake. Abaddon is greatly feared by demons and even other angels prefer he remain sealed away rather then set loose again.

His lone exception to his rampages are other angels, whom he will usually not harm unless attacked, and he will obey the orders of those who hold high positions in Heaven's ranks. Abaddon is indiscriminate otherwise, and will savagely cut down anyone in his path, favoring brute force over strategy with all the drive and tenacity of a feral animal.

Description: Abaddon is Heaven's deadliest warrior, a powerful and brutal angel who wreaks havoc and destruction wherever he goes. Because of this he had functioned as a fearsome enforcer that has slain countless demons. Due to his savage nature, however, he would require imprisonment when he was not in battle, and be kept restrained as to not cause unnecessary damage.

In the time when the Dark Knight Sparda led Mundus' armies, Abaddon personally sought him out in battle and the armies were devastated while angel and devil fought to a stalemate, though in the end Sparda was able to inflict a devastating blow to the angel, but was forced to retreat as Heaven's reinforcements arrived, and Abaddon was sealed away again, only for news of Sparda's betrayal of Mundus and sealing away the demons' realm came to pass, Abaddon hungered for a rematch, but as doing so would only destroy the Earth where Sparda now lived, he was imprisoned in Purgatory, forgotten to time.

Centuries passed, and Zuriel , an angel who sought to cleanse the earth of the "demon corruption" and convert it into a paradise, traveled to Purgatory and freed the Destroyer, telling him of Sparda's sons and his opportunity to avenge himself and burn the Earth to the ground as demons had continued to pour into it. Released into the world and acting as Zuriel's cat's paw, Abaddon would devastate the land as he grew stronger, until faced by Dante and his allies, along with Zuriel's former subordinate Saraviel , and the Son of Sparda destroyed the insane angel once and for all in a brutal battle.

Notes: Angels are the inhabitants of Heaven, or Paradise, and exist in different castes based on their type and in their natural state, they are energy beings of a variety of incomprehensible forms made of "celestial light". They are in direct opposition with demons and unlike demons they almost never visit earth to the point humans exposed to the supernatural wonder if they even exist.

Like other angels, Abaddon conceals his true form under a suit of protective armor, with only his wings visible though light from his true body shines through, hinting at his true nature. Due to his nature and his injuries, Abaddon's form is less stable and thus remains wreathed in intense and wild flames
