If my father asked me to dieI would say hell no
If my mother asked me to provide wine at a wedding
I would have nothing to show
If I tried to walk on water
I know that I'd sink straight to the sand
Because I am not God, I know I am weak
I am small, just another member of the species of man
But I have words to speak
I've got something to say
I have strong belief in the perfection of a loving God
I call his name, he listens and answers when I pray
I freely confess to you, brothers and sisters
That I have sinned through my own fault
Yet in my human weakness, I am still made by God
And that gives me a confidence to exalt
