Alyssa is a lesser demon, from an order of succubus-like creatures. In the hierarchy of demonology, rather than be in the same category of succubi, Alyssa falls into the category of cambion. It is believed that succubi would collect the hm seed of demons and impregnate human women - it's one of the ways cambion are born, and the way Alyssa came to exist.

Easygoing and sweet, Alyssa likes to crack jokes, sing, and be surrounded by people. She enjoys being watched, praised, and desired in all senses. She's not exactly a proud person, nor does she think herself better than others, but positive social interaction makes her happy.

Definitely scared of how fleeting feelings can be, she doesn't form strong bonds easily. She loves to be entertained, but she's not easily impressed. She will be friendly to everyone, but in truth she may not specially like anyone. She's a good neighbour and a happy camper, but anything beyond that, and you're treading muddy waters.

◈History:

Alyssa had only her mother growing up. She was an adorable person, good of heart and forgiving to all. When she and her husband were trying to concieve a child, Alyssa's mother had sleeping problems. Several times a night, she'd suffer from sleep paralysis. It would make her lose any control over her body, and the more she fought it, the harder it became. She never told anyone, in fears they'd think she was crazy.

One night, when she woke up and couldn't move, she saw something on top of her. A man, with long black hair and a beautiful face. Scared and certain that it was an hallucination, Alyssa's mother simply closed her eyes and tried to go back to sleep.

That was when Alyssa was conceived.

Alyssa knew what she was from the moment she was self-aware. She knew how she came to be. She knew she couldn't tell her mother any of that - that's not how demons work. In fact, she had lots of worldly knowledge that she needed to keep herself alive and hidden during the time she was a child. The process of growing from a seedling to an adult was only because of the fact her host was a human. Still, she couldn't help but form an emotional bond with the woman who "raised" her. Her father, however, was a stranger who loved her very much. And as you do with every random stranger who loves you very much for no reason, she sort of tolerated him.

Her horns started to grow when she was 16 years old. So, she left home and wandered off to her own path.

Cambions are known to be stragglers, lost souls, demons with no purpose. She wandered for many years trying to find purpose to her life. She still does - now, at the Sirius.

◈Abilities:

+ Dream touch

She may induce dreams by touching someone who's sleeping. The content of those dreams are only partially of her choice - she may try to make someone dream about milk, but instead, they dream about cheese, or a cow. There's nothing stopping that person from simply waking up, either.

+ She's very flexible, quick, and agile. Her reflexes are great, and she reacts quickly to surprises.

+ Does not need to eat. She can simply live on water. If she goes without water, however, she will die, just like a human would. She can still eat if she wants. She's not a fan of how it comes out, though.

- Can't stand pain at all. She's very sensible and will not get into fights.

- She's a very lowly, weak demon. In front of more poweful demons, she gets very intimidated and insecure, and can't help but bend to their will.

- She's also plagued by sleep paralysis, which leaves her very vulnerable at night.
