My first experience with watercolor pencils. I had watched some Youtube videos beforehand, but to be honest I did not get what I was expecting. Blending adjacent colors with a wet brush is a lot trickier than I imagined, especially if one of them is black. You have to be very careful not to get that black smudged in areas where you want only blue or white. It took several layers and drying of each layer until I finally got satisfying color intensity. Also, texture of watercolor paper is much much different compared to the ultra smooth papers I use for graphite drawings. But this is my first attempt, what could I expect?
