After ChromxAvatar, this is my preferred Chrom pairing. And I blame you for that.

It surprises me that this Chrom pairing isn't as maligned as ChromxSumia. Olivia joins the team in the very chapter in which Chrom's wife must be decided and if you're MU isn't into Chrom on this playthrough (or a guy), and if Sully, Maribelle, and Sumia are taken, Olivia becomes your last chance for getting a decent Lucina since Olivia passes on the highest Skill/Luck/Speed caps. Otherwise, Chrom will marry Generic Villager Bitch and Lucina will be an only child and suck (HARD). But somehow Olivia avoids most of the ravenous mauling at the hands of die-for-my-ship ChromxAvatar fangirls the others, especially Sumia, are subject to. I thought about and it boggles me. Is it out necessity? Or is Olivia really THAT cute? Does Inigo's bullying Owain, Gerome, and Brady work better in the Support conversations if he's their prince? The cutting an apple with Falchion in the B-Support certainly does since after Morgan, Inigo is the only one of Chrom's potential second children who can even have a sword without recalssing or a master seal. No one says "Olivia is just an armcandy Mary Sue last second not-Stripper who needs to back away from MY Chrom" and if they are I'm not finding them. But is the cuteness or the necessity of her being Lucina's mom really enough to save her from the haters?

Hm I suppose part of the reason is that OliviaxChrom itself isn't that popular (while their kids are) because of the fact that all their supports are gained simultaneously after their marriage, so there is no falling in love with their conversation beforehand. Remember, she is the very last resort wife out of all Chrom's possible ones so perhaps she poses the least threat because she's so hard to marry to him in the first place. From what I've seen, the only wife that seems to generate the most controversy is Sumia, probably because she's generic, a little naive and his priority wife. Olivia, from all her supports, is really sweet and I suppose most people support her to Chrom for Inigo to be part of the royal family, since he really does fit into that role well. For me, their support is the only one where Chrom isn't a total idiot and plus I've always loved Olivia and her son. I don't believe there's that many haters in the fandom really, or at least I've never seen them?

Fair enough, but Chrom can support with her AFTER he's already married and the theme is still an inverse of the uptown girl scenario in which the rich, handsome, and princely man must impress the shy, poor, in major need of confidence booster girl. Still cute, still good, but out of context when they are married which itself amounts to "Hey Olivia, this may have come out of nowhere but I really like you and the fact that your outfit means I can see your bubbly hip-hop butt 24/7 makes me feel things I've never felt before means I want to marry you. Wanna have super lucky, super fast, and super skillful children with me and become Queen of Ylisse?" "Oh my...uhm... W-well If you'll have me. I-I mean if you don't want anyone else or have another i-in mind or are seeing anyone right now. Not that I think you're the type of prince to have more than one wife Sir Chrom but yes, yes I will! *blushing like a tomato that is about to explode*" I'd of preferred if they spread out the supports over a brief falling-in-love-montage from the end of Chapter 11 onward where Chrom and officers are celebrating Gangrel's (not) death since Olivia's C-support IS her running away from him and they could have had her do THAT instead of the hug and agree to marry scene if they haven't S-supported just yet and it being more "Wow they came a long way in two years, good for them" and less "When the hell did that happen?" Less strangulation with the Red String of Fate that way.
But you're right, Inigo does a great job as Chrom's embarrassing, irreverently skirt-chasing son to foil Lucina's deadpan serious save-the-world-from-evil older daughter. And to his credit, Prince!Inigo does look the most like Chrom out of Chrom's other potential second children except for Morgan but then Morgan can still look sort of like Chrom if he's the grandfather too so s/he doesn't count. I should try as fem!MU...

Absolutely gorgeous, it's a very tender scene. You really sense that it's a peaceful scene well earned after a hard battle... or maybe after the war is finally won.
Makes me wish my in-game family could be this sweet and peaceful. Oh well, I knew what I was getting into pairing my unit with Tharja - a messed-up but powerful family.

Thank you so much! Tharja is a crazy woman but man is she a powerhouse! I married her to Henry this playthrough and their Noire is an unstoppable force of nature it is so amazing

I didn't have much luck with Noire when I used that pair in a later playthrough, unless I changed her class into a magic-based one. I think pairing her with Gaius or Lon'qu (archers with Astra are fun) gave me the best results... apart from my unit, but that's a given.

ahh yeah i class changed noire into her mother's class so she was pretty amazing as her dad was the same class too

Does sort of limit her class options; along the same lines as if you pair Stahl and Sully up (as the only difference in their classes is Sully gets Wyvern Rider while Stahl gets Archer). However, it does consolidate some things nicely, so it's not all bad.

Thank you! Yeah, Chrom and Henry make surprisingly good husbands and fathers. I actually can't make myself marry a 2nd gen character, I don't know why but I think something about the age gap freaks me out, even though we're all physically the same age.... Frederick was my favourite husband! I heard female Morgan is adorable but I've never had one... but my son is always really cute!

Yeah, female Morgan is soo adorable ;_; In "The Future Past" i could fight her/him (both morgans are bosses there)
so i put my character near them to activat a short conversation to let them flee the fight....i cried while reading this ;___;
But a bit strange, when you change her class to bride and she says:
