Concept of this piece

Gradie has been my so-called "fursona" for a while now. And it's time to tell the story behind her. When I first made Gradie, I was unsure about myself. I've never been a "babe" with huge boobs, flat belly and long hair. I may be a blonde, but I've never been even near Gradie. She's got multiple colors in her hair, piercings and two tattoos. I don't have a single piercing nor a tattoo. I don't plan to have anything like that either. But I used Gradie to hide myself. I never honestly liked myself. And I was new to the fandom. And, by the time I created Gradie, I also hung out with some friends that were... in the same boat as the character. They had large breasts, hair extensions, and were lose. I were never like them of course, but somehow it had me. I also found out that "yiff" were very popular on this site, that's why I started drawing Gradie doing sexual actions with other characters and such. I never thought people would really consider ME as Gradie. After I got more known (on my old gradiewoof account), people started calling me a "whore" and such. I've never done anything that could make me even near a "whore" as they called me. And as I got more wiser, if that's the right word, I started to understand that Gradie was never me! I adore Gradie. I love her to bits, but I'll never be like her. And today, I never plan to be either. I'm actually happy to be myself.

That's how I created my dear sweet Ciera YellowLeaf. I wanted her to be more like me. Look like me, act like me and feel like me. I wanted her to mirror me perfectly. Ciera is perfect as me. She's just as shy, but also outgoing once you know her. She's got the same bodytype as me, small breasts and a chubby belly. (She's also veeery fluffy, not that I am fluffy, but I LOVE fluff!)

But DON'T get me wrong! I ADORE Gradie! She's still my all time favorite character. But she's just not... me. Okay?

Here you see Ciera telling Gradie that she's finally on her own. She got happy with herself, and wanted to crawl out of her cave where she hide herself. She doesn't need to hide behind Gradie's beauty anymore, because she knows that she's got her own beauty to show.

So what I've learned from these years is that; You don't have to hide behind a "sexy" fursona. Create yourself! My lesson is now learned.
