Description I have a print of this picture up for auction!
[link]

Feel free to go nuts bidding if you're interested in it, I'll ship it worldwide.

Recently upgraded my entire camera kit, so I went and reshot this [link] for comparative purposes.

I got the scan back today, and am now quite happy with the move to medium format. So much more detail, the medium format print looks worlds sharper, cleaner and clearer than the 35mm print.

I am a happy boy

I could/should have shot it on the same film, I used Velvia for the 35mm shot, and should have used Velvia for the 6x7. Instead I used Kodak E100G, as it was the same ISO as my polaroid back and I wanted to keep it simple for my first roll on the new camera. It's still a very fine grained film, with good colour, but Velvia would have been better for comparitive purposes, and probably provided slightly better results overall.

Wow, yeah, I was thinking that had to either be a digital camera stuck on daylight balance, or 35 shooting something like velvia 50. Velvia always goes absolutely NUTS with sulfer and flouresent lights at night... usuaing giving off a STRONG green cast.

The quality of this second shot is amazing, very detailed compared to the 35mm...

What scanner are you using?

I love this shot. The eerie green cast over the empty tunnel, the lights overhead winding away in the distance. The image is so crisp and clear as well. Makes me wish I was there even though it's just a tunnel. Awesome work. +fav

Hah, now thats a place I would love to spend some time at. Great shot.. I love the curves of the lights. Only think missing imo is something in the foreground... or maybe a crop on the bottom? hm.

Anyways, - great shot.

Wow! What an amazing tunnel. The colours are incredible, and the image is so clear. I didn't notice in the thumbnail how it snakes away into the distance like that. Wonderful capture.
