Description This one requires a long, lengthy explanation, so buckle up and grab your car pillow, cause here we go!!

The other day, myself and three other avid anime enthusiasts felt like watching the Fullmetal Alchemist movie, even though only two of us had actually watched the series. Needless to say, the other two guys just watched for the first five minutes with their mouths just wide open, drooling, and with a blank stare. They couldn't figure out why 6 people were called Alphonse, why ponytails abounded, and why the hell there was a walking suit of armor. To take pity on them (and to further open discussion), I put together this little number.

The first row represents the two worlds around ep. 30 of the anime: at this time, there is an Ed and an Al on earth (ie Germany), and they both have normal bodies, represented by boxes. At the same time, there is an Ed with a funky arm and leg and a suit-of-armor Al in Shambala (ie Amestris), and they are represented by circles.

The second row is around ep. 48, when circle Ed goes to earth and inhabits the body of square Ed. Who then procedes to be squashed under a pile of rubble. No more square Ed. Circle Ed gets back to Shambala safely.

The third row is ep 52. Circle Ed has moved to earth from Shambala, but square Al and circle Al are still in their respective worlds. However, circle Al now looks like square Al, hence the fusion. One could say that someone "copy and pasted" square Al's body onto circle Al's. The word armor is just there to confirm which "mind" I'm talking about.

The final row is the start of Conqueror of Shambala. On earth, there is circle Ed (still with busted limbs), and there is square Al, who has the appearance of an Al. In Shambala, there is only armor (once circle) Al, who looks like Ed.

Yeah, I know it's confusing, but it was the best I could come up with on such short notice. And somehow it actually worked! How wonderful is that! ^w^'

Oh, and just for continuity, we must all remember that Pacman has been everywhere from the very beginning. He is a god in tiny, pixilated, fraction-pie form. All hail the god pie.
