I have loved anthro/furry art for a few years, ever since I found Deviantart(which was a few years before I joined Deviantart, so it's been a while) but always told myself that "Eww furries cringe" and all that shit. Even once I started accepting that hey, furries are mostly chill, I still didn't want to accept that I wanted to be a part of the community. Probably a mix of peer pressure and my previous Christianity(Though this does not mean that you can't be a Christian and be a furry, but for me my religion limited some important explorative aspects of my life). Well, since I became an atheist I've been exploring my options more because what's stopping me? So, I decided I wanted to join the furry community and came up with a fursona :3

My spotted hyena fursona's color is based off of my birth gem, which is emerald. At first I wasn't sure I wanted to go with a green-centric theme, but making the green have a shade of blue gave the colors enough contrast for me, and I really like how the color scheme turned out! I will make another general ref sheet including fursona name, gender, sexual identity, etc.
