Personal Commission --The guy wanted me to create a new female Na'vi character (based on the movie Avatar, obviously). It was drawn with pencil and brush pen, then colored digitally in Photoshop.

Awesome work, mate. y'know what... ever wonder if they'll make small stories about the Na'vi people and other creatures inhabiting pandora and make it into a whole vast universe that could match the vastness of the Star Wars franchise?

I have to say tho, I think her anatomy is a bit too human still, from her facial structure (eye size and position, leonine nose) to her really quite curvaceous figure and significant bosom.
Na'vi females in the film were all elongated and thin by human standards (at least Caucasian standards, they're a lot closer to Masai)
She's also wearing rather a lot of clothes for a Na'vi, but maybe we should let that one go!

It's a great picture, Grant, and I love your work. I agree with dukeleto, though, in that she's a bit chesty for a Na'Vi and a bit, well, clothed for a Na'Vi. I think the facial structure looks like a Grant Gould Na'Vi, which would make a lot of sense, huh.
