Description
In the very sense of the title, it was a vain pursuit taking this shot, everything was stacked against it, lighting, back ground, lack of any really editing software to remove the hot spots that I could not take out due to the lighting and the surface texture, this leaf has a clear coat sprayed on it to keep it from degrading farther then it has, till I got a chance to get a shot of it. the clear coat gives it a wet look and shine... and hot spots... Had I had photoshop or something similar the hot spot and color correction would not have been an issue. oh well live and learn. I liked the veined effect this leaf had, it's why it caught my eye and I took interest in it.. any how, for now a B&W will have to suffice.
