Alright, so I've been playing A TON of FFX lately, so I thought I'd have some and do genderbends of the main cast .w.
Anyway, I started off with Lulu just cuz I had a pretty good idea of what I was going to do.
Oh, and my brother's the one who decided on "Lolo", but on further thought I much prefer "Lele" (rhymes with bell).

I didn't concentrate enough on the hair, I wanted to make them individual braids but I've never done them before, so instead they turned out more like dreads. I removed the asymmetry that was already in Lulu's hair though, that was intentional XD

I gave him an open, loose, longish shirt with partial light fur trims along the upper sides that trail off where the tails go past his waist. It'd be the same color as the original (black with white highlights), but I changed the white little floral patterns Lulu has on the trail of her dress to a more grass blade/leaf design. I was trying to keep the flowy traily-ness though, so the sleeves have extended portions of cloth on the outside that trail down the hands.

Moving on, I had to redesign more on the bottom half of the outfit (no beltskirts for Lolo, I'm afraid). Instead it's partially open light shorts with an open belt, leather greaves with heavy fur trim on the tops, and beltshins (unfortunately, my internet was out, so I was doing all of this from memory...and I didn't know what shoes Lulu was tramping around in, so I didn't do any for Lolo -_-).
One of the...more noticeable points of Lulu's design is that the fur trim on her corset/dress thing very clearly defines her boobs, so I thought it was only fair that Lolo's design went in a similar direction. The fur trim on Lolo's outfit forms a fairly obvious down arrow (it'd be more apparent in full color, with heavy black against the stark white. And with a better artist XD).

One of the more clever things I thought was subbing out Lulu's dolls with Lolo's toy vehicles. Dolls are traditionally (and stereotypically) feminine, so for a gender-swapped Lulu I traded the dolls for the traditionally masculine toy vehicles (I also thought the toy Doomtrain would be sort of adorable). Other than the train, Lolo would also get maybe airships, the submarine from VII, the car from VIII, and Magitek Armor from VI. His ultimate weapon would probably be one of the Airships from FF3 just to match Lulu's Onion Knight...though personally I would want it to be a toy chocobo on rocket skates, like from Chocobo Racing XD
All of his toys would be made from wood and stone, instead of Lulu's cloth textures. I thought they'd look cool as plastics, but I don't think Spira has plastics 0_0

Finally, I just did a few details. I moved the pins from Lulu's hair (and cropped them down a number to 1) and stuck it over one of Lolo's ears.
I'm pretty sure Lulu has a tattoo on her upper thigh (you can see it through the gaps in her belts and above her lace stockings), so I put one just at Lolo's crotch line, pretty much.
One of my biggest regrets with doing this design though is that I'm not talented enough yet to really make it something special...I wish I could do as much detail as Nomura does XD
Also, I'm not good enough yet to draw an "attractive" character. My people don't look real enough XD
Lolo, ideally, should come across as pretty up there (though he's a little scruffier than Lulu, I guess). If anyone who sees my stuff is a really good artist, maybe they can give it a shot? Or maybe I'll just work up to it...
