The entrance to the gates of Japanese Hell...The sworling vortex of fire looks fantastic striking the building...it's as if...someone's being sent there.

i personally think you can have as many gates of hell as you'd like.
either way, interesting concept. are you calling japan evil? (kidding). just guessing, but i think you just picked this particular image because you liked it, but throwing the concept in, it's a very nice idea. a little unsual, but you certainly possess a skill with digital manip. keep up the good work, i recommend taking on a few more advanced themes because you certainly posess the skill to pull it off.

I'm not all that keen on lens flares, but it kind of works for the door. I would have gotten rid of the tail for sure though, it's quite distracting. Over all I like the concept, and the colour scheme is quite appealing.

the colors in this piece are awesome. the flames on the top are so bright and fiery and i like the lens flare effect on the door. this is very, very cool.

reminds me of enter the dragon, still hoolds an asian feel to it, the varying orange / red half monotone look works well

Wow, I must say, this is brilliant. I adore the colors.
My only fix is the shadow. Since this is digital art and not originally a photograph, The angle of the light implies that the shadow be longer and darker, and also reach past the ground.
I may be mistaken on this, but you asked for critique, so i hope this helps you.

the colours and the lighting is amazing. I've never related chinese architecture to hell before so it's interesting. But the sky could be better with a little bit more work on colours.

What did you use to make it? You may want to size it down to around 1000 pixels as its a tad large atm. Not sure about it being one of th gates of hell, but na wells looks very purty ne ways....
