Meredith was born into a huge family that struggled to make ends meet. Her parents loved her but with 5 seperate litters of kits varying from age 2-26 all under the same roof neglect was a given. Being a middle child Meredith quickly developed paternal skills that greatly aided in raising her younger siblings. As finances got tighter and tighter Meredith began taking any small jobs she could, and soon found that she was incredibly charismatic. Collecting trinkets grew into selling them, her silver tongue and bright smile coming naturally. She could sell garbage to the rich with the right sales pitch. Her hobby grew into a career, and soon her name was known across the townships.

The business was great, she was supporting her parents and her siblings, life was all she could ask for, successful at the age of 20. Then he walked in, a suave honchkrow with black silk for a pelt and eyes that drew even the most reserved cat from their shell. She fell for him instantly, his honeyed words and gentle demeanour wrapping her up and entangling her into a short blissful romance. Her belly round with the promise of new life she dreamed of marriage and domestic bliss, it came crashing down when one day he was gone with a messy letter left at her bedside. He was long gone, and not even Hether could track him down while airborne. She was devastated.

RJ was born on a perfect day, and brightened the clouds that had formed over Meredith's humble abode. The small kit went with her everywhere, tucked into her pouch amongst wares. Everything was wonderful until two things became apparent. The first was very common with kangaskhan children, RJ had dwarfism, he was incredibly small and his pale pelt likely would never turn to the browns of elder kangaskhan. The second was more troublesome, he wasn't developing mentally either, and was diagnosed with Peter Pan Syndrome at the age of 12. Meredith didn't bat an eye, RJ was her beloved son no matter the form. He still travels with her, and is a constant jovial pokecat at her side.
