Back in 1997 I bought my second comic book album ever. It was story of Onslaught as best told as it was here in Finland at that time, it was missing pages, it was missing chapters, it was cut so that when Onslaught released his psi-blast on one page it was cut to world being torn by tornado of psi power on the next (little did I know that there were about 10 chapters worth of stuff happening between those 2 pages) It had cover by Joe Madureira and the albums first chapter (Uncanny X-men #335)was drawn by Joe Mad himself. On that chapter the Avengers go see what has happened to Xaviers school and X-men, and in that chapter I was first introduced to a this weird green/red/yellow character who could fly and phrase trough walls. I was mesmerized by this guy. As I read more about of the story I could see small snippets here and there of the character, kinda in the background, not doing anything, but then at the finale of the story he merged with Rogue and charged Onslaught only to fail, and then the biggest shock came: the mysterious guy was a robot. After that I was totally entangled by this guy. I wanted to know more, I wanted to learn of this character as much as I could.
That guy was Vision. He is my favourite Avenger.
